BONACHELA DANCE WORKSHOPS

Bonachela Dance Company is a dynamic new touring company, working collaboratively across art forms and disciplines under the artistic direction of award-winning choreographer Rafael Bonachela.  Founded on Bonachela’s interest in the physicality and emotional impulse of the body, BDC brings together artists from diverse practices to create revolutionary new work which makes each performance an extraordinary experience.

Drawing on Bonachela’s signature style and approach to making dance, the workshop will allow participants to work firsthand with one of Bonachela’s professional dancers and explore movement and dance ideas from the company’s repertoire. The emphasis will be on Bonachela’s creative processes, encouraging participants to experience a sense of creative adventure and to create their own movement vocabulary.

Work will be suitable for students studying dance at GCSE and Advanced level and will encourage their understanding of creating work for groups as well as individuals.

Half day workshop costs £175 + VAT (travel and accommodation not included)

Full day workshop costs £350 + VAT (travel and accommodation not included)
