Drawing and Painting for Beginners
Dates: Wednesdays 23 April-9 July 2008 9.30am-12pm (excludes 28 May & 4 June)
Venue: New Greenham Arts Studio 2

Class size: Up to 15 people
Overview: A course for beginners or those who want to refresh their skills and knowledge. Sessions will cover a range of media, techinques and subject matter, allowing you to discover your own creative syle.

Life Painting/Drawing
Dates: Thursdays 24 April-3 July 2008 7.30pm-9.30pm (excludes 29 May)

Price: £80 (10 week course)
Class size: Up to 15 people (16 years +)
Overview: Whether you are a representational artist or a more avant garde painter using a variety of media, or indeed a complete beginner, these ten sessions can provide you with what you need - from a structured programme of lessons to a more relaxed level of support and advice. You will need your own materials.

Experimental Drawing with Sally Haynes
Dates: Mondays 21 April - 30 June 2008 7.30pm - 9.30pm (excludes 26 May)
Venue: New Greenham Arts Studio 2
Tutor: Sally Haynes
Price: £85 (plus £5 for materials)
Class size: Up to 15 people
Overview: This is a 10 week course designed for the more experienced student. Artists will be encouraged to draw using all their senses, not just the visual. Most weeks subject matter will be provided and students will choose to develop their work in a variety of ways.  They can work in sketch books, and at a large scale using the floor, walls or easels. A variety of media, methods and materials will be explored, encouraging new ways of working. During the term students will be encouraged to share ideas and offer positive critical discussion.

Alexander Technique

Overview: Alexander Technique is a hands on re-education system for the human body. It improves posture, backache, injuries (R.S.I), neck and shoulder pain, tense muscles and begins to coordinate with a calmer outlook on life. The workshop offers personal assessments, creative fun activities and easy self help tips, plus the semi supine postition.
